The Santa Barbara Education Foundation funds grants once a year to students to provide support for student-led projects and initiatives in the Santa Barbara Unified School District. We want our students to feel empowered to be the change they want to see in their schools and community.

SBEF Mission Statement: The Santa Barbara Education Foundation (SBEF) provides and supports programs that enrich the academic, artistic, and personal development of all students in the Santa Barbara Unified School District. 

SBEF Social Justice Statement: As an organization that supports public education, we believe that ensuring equitable and inclusive opportunities for students is critical to achieve and sustain positive systemic change.
